Are you going to renew your Driver's License (DL) and Identification Card (ID)? If yes, you should go to the site at www.dds.ga.gov/secureid to learn more about the state’s new Secure ID program before you visit the Department of Driver Services center.
At the above site, it will tell you what types of documents you will need to bring with you, including what you need to provide if your name has legally changed from the name shown on the Primary Identification document. In general, you just bring the following three types of documents: A valid passport or an original or certified copy of your birth certificate, the proof of your Social Security Number and two documents to prove your Residential Address. For more, click HERE.
